Overlanded and Shortlanded cargo:

Customs impose a penalty to vessel of up to five times the amount of import duties corresponding to overlanded / shortlanded cargo.

It is, therefore, very important to check carefully all manifest and cable to the agent at the first Spanish port before vessel's arrival in order to avoid such heavy fines.
